Does the procedure hurt?

Topical 5% lidocaine is used to help make you comfortable during your procedure, however pain tolerance is very individual and can vary from person to person. Having the procedure done during your menstrual cycle may increase your sensitivity.

You CANNOT receive PMU (permanent makeup) if you are:

  • Pregnant/breastfeeding

  • Are currently using accutane or have used accutane within the past 6 months

  • Have a freshly tanned/sunburned face

  • Are on blood thinners or antibiotics

  • Have rosacea

  • Are currently undergoing cancer treatment ( must be off radiation/chemo for 6 months)

How long does the procedure take?

First time appointments take approximately 2 hours. Follow up sessions take anywhere between 60-90 mins tops.

Microblading FAQ’s

Is microblading right for me?

Microblading is meant to be a subtle, natural enhancement. It looks more natural on clients who already have semi full brow hair and just wanting to enhance/perfect their brow shape. The more hair you have, the more natural it will appear.

Microblading heals best on young, healthy, and dry/normal skin. Oily skin and aging/thin skin is not recommended for microblading. The results will not heal as well, or look as natural. If you fall under these descriptions, you would be a better candidate for the combo/ombre brow.

What are your forms of payment?

I prefer cash, and accept venmo or checks. If paying credit card or paypal there will be an additional 3% fee incurred.

What is a combo/ombre brow?

This is perfect for clients who are perfectionists and just want a more filled in look. Think of how you look when you apply makeup to your brows. Combo brows have microbladed hair strokes in the head of the brow, whereas ombre brow is a soft gradient filled brow. This is a beautiful look for all skin types and heals very soft and beautiful.

How long will my permanent cosmetics last?

Cosmetic tattooing is meant to fade over time. Factors such as skin type, lifestyle, age, metabolism, medications, and pigment color affect the longevity of the tattoo. UV rays can affect the rate at which these pigments are broken down. To maximize your brows follow the aftercare instructions and touchup your brows as needed, please note that final results vary and cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of skin as it heals. A 6-10 week follow up appt is recommended where we can perfect and refine your brows.

How should I prepare for my appt?

You may show me reference pictures, along with brow pencil/makeup that you are currently using. You must not use retinol near the brow area 2 weeks before or after the procedure. No botox, fillers, microdermabrasion, or chemical peels, etc for at least 2 weeks prior or 2 weeks after your procedure.

Doing any of the following will causes excessive bleeding during your procedure and will affect your results;

  • Workout

  • ingesting aspirin, ibuprofen, caffeine ( anything that can thin the blood. Avoid 48 hours before and after appt)
